  • Ahhhh, finally I am back online. I think I was going into serious internet withdrawal there!

    Moi? An internet addict? Maybe, but “if it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad.”

    Here is a poem I am working which is nameless at the moment. It is not a happy poem, but I imagine you’ll note as you read more of my work that much of my writing is counter-culture.

    *****

    Leave me alone; just let me be,

    Or are you to drunk on life to see,

    I’m not like you; you’re not like me.

    You want to fit in; I want to be free.

    *****

    You see forests as something to sell;

    Where ever you live, I cannot dwell.

    You see a city, I see a cell.

    Here is your heaven; same as my hell.

    *****

    You only see clouds though the sun shines.

    You wait on tomorrow and the next headline.

    Your life is controlled by bills and deadlines.

    You’ve got more than enough, but still you whine.

    *****
