Mind Trap
Lightless place of pain and sorrow;
No hope for any better tomorrow.
Trapped within, enclosed and alone,
My empty screams the only tone.
Cause you hate me;
The whole world hates me.

Heavy air empty, smells of dust
And bitter-bloody as the smells of dust,
Not cut now though I once was torn,
Battered, and humanity shorn.
Cause you can’t see;
The world can’t see me.
**
What these claws, ragged flesh hanging,
Once my hands, ruined with all my straining,
Clutching, clawing, reaching alone
Within my inward walls of stone.
Cause you’ve trapped me;
The whole world’s trapped me.
