I didn’t win the lottery….
Last night I dreamed a coworker won the lottery. Well, bummer. Apparently I can’t even win in my dreams! lol
But he wanted to open a store for body builders and for some reason we were in Europe. All the streets were cobblestone and the houses were all quaint cottage-like buildings like you see in pictures of Bavaria. I was trying to convince him to carry vitamins in the store, but he was resistant to the idea because he didn’t want to be just another healthfood store. I convinced him that he should carry just one vitamin line and no one would think he was running a health food store with all the weightlifting gear and whatnot that would make up most of the stock. We kept trying to go to various restaurants for lunch to talk about the other things he wanted in the store, but apparently we weren’t hoitytoity enough and they kept giving us snooty looks until we would leave to look for another place to eat.
Then for some reason I was walking through catacombs beneath a castle, dressed all in white, but the darkness was chasing me. I was wearing some kind of satiny, medieval type dress with long, long ribbons tied at the waist like a belt and flowing after me as I wandered through the dark halls. Whenever the darkness stalking me caught up, bits of the long ribbon would turn black and become lacelike. I woke up just as I managed to find a way out, but by then, the dress hade become entirely black and shroud-like.

You have such interesting dreams, have you always/do you always remember them so well? I can only think of a few that I have remembered so vividly. . . I wonder why that is.
@Jemstone05 - Thanks
I wish I dreamed more, but I take what I can get. Sometimes I dream every night for a month and other times I don’t dream anything for three-four months. Most of my dreams are like this one, full of imagery and color, but I often forget them before I can get to the computer to record them. :-/
I’m told that writing them down and actively trying to remember them as you do helps you remember more of them in the future. I am good on weekends at sleeping for a long time and going through REM cycles like mad. My psyche is so well-filtered today
this sounds like a really cool dress. i use to love dresses but since getting a job and buying things on my own (which has been a very very very long time) i have not spent anything on frivolous wants and dresses are in that catagory
this dream sounds like it is from another time.
Wow that dream is pretty cool. Do you know what it mean?
Lotteries — just a tax on people who don’t know how to do math.
‘sides, if I won, I’d have to change all my friends.
hrm, dreams…
LOL, your coworker won the lottery. /chuckle. Wonder how a dream turns from opening a bodybuilding shop to running through catacombs.
Last night I dreamed a couple of things. The actual lucid dream I had was that I was with a bunch of child athletes who were captured and slowly sold off to be killed. It was pretty mixed up and weird, we the children had an okay overall life, but I ended up saving the ones who were left by killing our captors.
The other one I had, I don’t think it was a dream. I don’t think I actually lost consciousness, per se, and I think I actually found my way out, or started to. I opened my eyes afterwards, briefly, and knew all of what I had experienced, but I later forgot any plot. I should have written it down.
