  • Writers Choice Featured Questions 6d: Fate

Do you believe in fate? Why or why not?
    ehnvied

Weeeellllll….. yes and no. I believe in fate, but I also believe you make you own. I think there is a larger plan, but that there is also much variation in the details. So… say you went to a fortuneteller and they told you that your spouse would leave you in five years. You go home and file divorce papers the very next day, cause why wait on that kind of drama? Fate averted! But not really… you just sped up the timetable a bit. BUT! What if it turns out your ex-spouse then dies in a horrible auto accident five years later? Oops, they left you, but not the way you were thinking. All that time you could have spent together… now you feel like a complete heel. Or say, the fortuneteller says that you will die within the year, so you decide, the heck with it! and go on a complete bender… whatever you want, whenever you want it… drugs, sex, junkfood, etc… only to choke on a fishbone while you’re on your pigout. The fortuneteller was right, but it was a self-fulfilling prophecy. You made it true by your actions, maybe even hastened it.

That’s why fortunetelling is such a pain in the butt. I read Tarot and palms and even dreams, but there’s a lot that can happen between the reading and the actual fulfillment of the augury. You choose the fate… like going to a magic show and picking a card, any card. You know what cards are available, but it’s your choice which you get. It’s all a matter of interpretation.

So fate exists, but it changes based on a whole chaos theorem of whatif decisions. You get what you pay for, except you don’t always get exactly what you expected. Fate is a monkey’s paw crapshoot.

The Ludi Saeculares continues. In addition to Proserpine and Pluto/Dis, Diana, and the Moerae (Parcae), Latona, the Eilithyiae, and Terra Mater were honored. The games were performed by the Roman State to commemorate the end of one saeculum and the beginning of a new one in compliance with a sibylline mandate that so long as the games were kept, the empire should never fail. The saeculum was defined as the longest span of human life and was fixed in the Republic as an era of a hundred years. The ceremony took place in the Campus Martius near the Tiber at a spot known as Tarenturn or Terentum.

On this day, the annual Triple Blessings of the God Buddha is observed by Theravada Buddhists. To celebrate the god’s birth, enlightenment, and passage into Nirvana, shrines and houses are decorated with flowers and special prayer flags. Offerings of flowers, incense, and rice are also made. The Triple Blessing often lasts for three consecutive days.

  • Fungus? Not for me.

Had a looooooong day at work today and another bright and early tomorrow, so this will be a short entry. So I agreed to go in on pizza with some of my coworkers for dinner before I left, but then they got peppers and chicken and cheese and mushrooms! Gah! I was really disappointed, especially when most of the (nice plain) cheese bread was gone by the time I got back to it. Well, I made up for it with a big bowl of butter almond ice cream when I got home. Hrrmph…. that is the last time I go in on pizza with them for a while. Fungus or chicken and hot peppers? That’s no kind of choice. Yuck. You’d think as a vegetarian, I’d be agreeable to the fungus, but no… I can’t stand the stuff. It’s so… rubbery and moldy smelling. It’s just not something that seems suitable for ingestion.

Also, I used up the last of that “no scent” shampoo that I found without citric acid. Either their claims were untrue or there was something else in there that my hair didn’t like. So I decided to experiment. I checked all the regular castile soap and found that it too has citric acid. (They never wrote back to me after I emailed them, so I had to go to the store and read labels.) So I checked some of the other brands and found a tea tree and olive oil based castile soap that seems to have none. I also bought peppermint, rosemary, and chamomile tea bags. I boiled two bags of each herb with one cup of water, then mixed about two cups of the castile soap into it. It’s very brown. lol I used it last night. It smells very strongly of the tea tree oil when I use it, but once it’s rinsed out, it seems okay and smells rather nice. I’ll have to use it for a while before I’ll know if I’m going to have an adverse reaction to it. My hair seems to like it so far though. Not too dry or frizzy.

    A Look Back

How has your outlook or life changed
since you started your blog?   Go back through your entries for the
month of May in the year you first started blogging here on Xanga. You can go back to the very beginning or from just last year.

Are there any significant changes?  What was on your mind  back then?  Tell us about it, WITHOUT reposting the entry.

Let’s see…. according to my weblog archive, this blog began back in April of 2001. I think I deleted some stuff, but I’m not sure where or when. Mostly because my mother made me paranoid of sharing too much or posting ideas that others might steal. As if someone could profit from My ideas. Pshaw. But the only posts left from May of 2001 are poems.

After a gap of nearly a year and a half, my posts resumed in 2003. At the time, I was still employed at the place of evil… the ________ ______ bank. Though I had many jobs which were worse in their own way, the Bank was cumulatively the worst place I’ve ever been forced to spend large amounts of my life. Worse even than school, because at least when I was in school, the teachers didn’t join in on tormenting me. My boss at the time… let’s just say there’s probably a very good reason her husband left her… on Christmas the year before I started working there.

It was a joke in poor taste that led to my being let go, on September 11th 2003, which is ironic in SOOOOO many ways. Oh but they weren’t fooling anyone… I was just the first of many people to lose her job. A merger in the works caused many unfortunate firings after I left. Losing that job was the
Best thing that ever happened to me though, and I was all in favor of getting paid to go away, which is pretty much what they did.

A large percentage of my posts up until last year were my dreams… very bizarre dreams to be sure and worth a look-see just for their entertainment value. I still post them now and again, but I recalled my dreams most when I was stressed And bored in my previous job, so I have few dreams to report in the here and now. Through 2007 I mostly posted about my job and customers. Customers, when you work in retail, are the main source of irritation and amusement… sometimes both at the same time.

While I did post about my family and “issues” prior to 2007 and 2008, it’s really only in the past year or so that I’ve really opened up about who I am, how I feel, what I’ve experienced, and what I want. That’s not to say I don’t still rant now and then on a variety of issues, including my job, but my posts in general tend to be both more confrontational and political than when I first began blogging over six years ago. I am just more comfortable with expressing my opinions I guess. What’s the worst that could happen? No one can fire me from my blog! lol I don’t even care any more about the consequences of my words. So long as I am being honest and honorable in my posts, to hell with consequences. After being fired from the Bank for making a joke about going postal, and actually benefiting from the loss of that job, I find I have less interest in holding my tongue.

If something needs to be said, I’ll say it. I want to say it. I want people to hear (read) it. Half the ills in this world could be obliterated tomorrow if people would just be honest with one another. I am just tired of maintaining the illusion of perfection… in this world, in this country, of our society, of our collectively diseased psychology. There’s no benefit to being well adjusted in a mentally ill society. I’d rather be maladjusted and mentally healthy, than well adjusted and just as blind as every other fool who thinks the world is in a good place right now.

The Ludi Saeculares continues. The Pythian Games were enacted every four years in ancient Greece. It honored the slain serpent-goddess Python, and was celebrated in Delphi, the most venerated shrine in all of Greece.

    May 29th

The Ludi Saeculares continues. Mars was honored as an agricultural god with feasting, prayer, and purification rites. A pig, a sheep, and an ox were sacrificed to him after they had been driven around the limits of the farm or village.

Ambarvalia was the Roman festival of purification in honor of Ceres and Dea Dia. People would ritually walk plowed fields three times to gain divine favor for their growing crops. The word is derived from ab ambiendis arvis, “going round the fields.” Celebrants were crowned with oak leaves, singing hymns to Ceres, and entreating her to preserve their corn. A prayer was formerly addressed to Mars, and afterwards to Ceres and other deities of agriculture. There were two festivals of that name celebrated by the Romans. The other occurs in July.

Oak Apple Day was held in honor of oak trees after Charles II escaped from Cromwell’s army by hiding in an oak tree. Oak leaves were worn until midday.

On the 15th day of Epipi, Horus hears prayer in the presence of the Netjers.

  • Internet_Island Topic #35

Internet Island Topic Post #35: What makes you unique?

    35.1 What makes you unique?

Am I unique? I thought I was just plain nuts. Seriously or surreally as the case may be. But in all honestly, people tell me I am crazy all the time.

    • I don’t care about money. This confuses people.
    • I don’t care about sex or about finding a significant other. This bothers people more than my disinterest in money.
    • Some people think I care too much about the environment. I think people don’t care enough.
    • Some think I care too much about making other people laugh. But even they fall before my silly ways.
    • Some people think (and say) I need therapy. They (and when I say they I mean she) are just jealous of my clownish skills. They wish they could be as amusing as me.
    • Sometimes I blurt out the first thing that comes to mind just to see how other people will respond. Usually they are confused, but sometimes they take my insanity and run with it. Yay!
    • Sometimes I play at being obnoxious simply to diffuse a tense situation. If every annoyed party is focused on me, they can’t possibly resume their interpersonal aggressions.
    • Most of the time I like plants and animals more than people. Plants and animals are just nicer than most people you meet. It makes me wish I could stop eating rather than eat animals or plants… but I think Breatharians are just a little…. um not quite right.
    • I like books more than I like most people. Books don’t insult you, and if they do, you can stop reading. If I had an unlimited supply of books, I would be quite content to spend the rest of my days alone on a deserted island.
    • When I die, I will either be reborn as a tree or not come back at all. I’m not sure which. On the one hand, I like the idea of coming back in a form that contributes more than it consumes, but on the other hand… I think I’m done here and I don’t need to come back.
    • I can be one of the most patient people around, except when confronted by someone who wears their ignorance like a badge of honor. I have no patience for such people.
    • I’d rather have a horse than a car, but you can’t ride a horse to work.
    • When I die, I want my books to be given to the smallest library that can be found. Or, if by the time I die I have enough books, I would like a library to be opened using my books. That’d be one interesting library! heh

35.2 Why is “whomever” unique? (Pick somebody who is unique and write about them.)

Everyone’s unique in their own special way. Some people are just… more comfortable showing how unique they are. I admire people who are not afraid to show how little they think of conformity for conformity’s sake. For instance, Gandhi. A person who is willing to stand up against the majority is a rare bird indeed, especially at great personal cost. Beyond that… you don’t hear of too many famous people who advocate the drinking of urine. But we shouldn’t hold that against him. It’s not like he was hurting anyone with this belief.

35.3 Is uniqueness a trait to be favored or derided, and why?

This is really a question of how much is too much… I mean, Ozzy used to go around biting the heads off of small helpless animals. Back in the day, this was a time honored means of entertainment, but that went out when they did away with sideshows and freak tents. How much uniqueness can the human race stand? Not a lot, actually. The majority of humanity does not like anyone who stands out too far from the norm. I never would have been “lynched” in jr highschool if people were inclined to embrace their odder peers. But statistically, the greatest leaps forward have come from the fringes… from people who thought outside the confines of society’s closed minds. People like Tesla and Einstein were unique in their genius… some might have called them mad… but because their inventions were beneficial, their eccentricities were tolerated, mostly because they could not be swept easily under the carpet.

Tolerance, that’s the key… if society can’t tolerate the oddity in their midst, they usually end up missing out on a lot of cool new ideas. If Tesla had been given his due (and Edison a kick in the rear), we might be a lot more advanced than we are now. Some scientists believe creativity in general is a form of insanity, a way the mind rewires experiences to create new ideas and possibilities. Even the dullest intelligence harbors a kind of madness, causing the mind to veer off in new directions with little provocation. So then genius becomes some kind of super-madness, and geniuses and savants of all walks of life should probably be locked away for the safety of the only slightly less mad. While it might be a good idea, since many extreme geniuses seem to skip over the little things like maintaining a proper diet and you know… hygiene, it would be better for all involved if society embraced their geniuses, if only to give them a firm connection to reality.

No one in their right mind (haha) should ever deride someone for being “unique.” It’s the unique perspective that inspires and conspires to improve the human race and its understanding of existence. Of course encourage the genius and free thinker within reason… someone has to bring them back down to earth or they may asphyxiate in the thin aether above the clouds. But no one should ever be discouraged from looking up. And no one should ever be discouraged from dreaming.

The annual festival of Fontinalia was celebrated by the Romans. It is traditional for Pagans and Witches (especially in Ireland and Great Britain) to throw flowers into springs and wells decorated with wreaths.

The Ludi Saeculares, the Secular (Centennial) Games, were held in honor of Proserpine and Pluto/Dis, Diana, and the Moerae (Parcae).  The games take their name from the word saeculum which originally meant a period stretching roughly a century. Devotees of the festival attributed the healing of epidemics, gangrenes and illnesses to its practice.

The 12th day of Epipi is the holiday of the receiving of Ra.

  • The Webnovel so far

I’ve four posts under my belt so far on the webnovel front. I’m making a new post every Sunday. Chapter one of Tattoo will probably wrap up in a week or two. The next few pages will be uber-creepy; just a warning for those who do not like gore. In which case, you probably should not be reading a horror webnovel…

For those who haven’t ready anything yet, here at the posts so far…

Chapter 1.1 in which Glory is not mindful of the store
Chapter 1.2 in which Glory is made to do something she would really rather not
Chapter 1.3 in which Glory thinks she might be sick
Chapter 1.4 in which Aaron makes a mistake

I’m thinking about asking my boss if she’d consider a four day work week instead of five. The commute is killing my wallet. Especially considering she leaves me off on days when sales need to be set up and so I end up coming in anyway. It’s really, really frustrating.

If she says yes, which is a big if, I might have more free time to write and draw, which is my real passion. I mean I LOVE working in a bookstore and working with books, but I’d really rather write my own instead of selling other people’s. lol

Speaking of books though, I just bought the Commemorative Edition Necronomicon… it’s a collection of the “Best Weird Tales of H. P Lovecraft.” It’s lovely in a squiddy kind of way. heh
Yeah, I have all the stories in other volumes already, but I couldn’t help myself. It’s all squamous and shiny black….

    weekly_writers_challenge

    Challenge Week Nine

This week’s challenge is to wax poetic about…a bolt.

    The Bolt of Truth

    wounded by sentiment
    words as weapons
a bolt straight to the heart
    I know, you know,
we know the truth of words
    even a lie
    carries kernels, its seeds
    ready to grow
    to strangle or secure
    the strange soil
of our minds eye turned in
    or out. me or
thee? what is there to see?
    ivy covers
    the crumbling facade
    invisible
    till the moment it falls
    inward, broken.

This day was sacred to the Mothers, three goddesses worshiped in Celtic countries as bringers of prosperity and good harvests.

The birth of the Greek moon-goddess Artemis (who also presides over hunting and wild beasts) is remembered. As a lunar goddess, she has been an influential archetype for many Witches and worshipers of the contemporary Goddess religion. Artemis is equivalent to the Roman moon-goddess Diana and is identified with Luna, Hecate, and Selene.

The feast day of Hermes Trismegistus, patron of alchemy, is celebrated today.

An annual harvest ritual called Bonn Chroat Preah Nongkoal, or Sacred Furrow Day, is held in Cambodia. As part of the rite, the farmland is plowed by members of the royal family in order to appease the ancient gods of the harvest, ensuring the fertility of the land. After circling the rice field three times, the procession stops at a chapel where Brahmin invoke the protection of the Gods. The sacred cows are released from their harnesses and guided to seven silver trays containing rice, corn, bean, and other edibles. Predictions are made for the coming year based on what they choose. If they choose the cereals, the harvest will be good, but if they eat herbs, cattle diseases are to be feared. Rain will be abundant and peace will reign if they prefer the water, while the alcohol, is an augury of trouble in the Kingdom.

  • Writers Choice Featured Questions Week 5-all 5

What did you want to be when you were small?
    x_xLucid_Nightmarex_x

I wanted to be so many things when I was small. Baker, artist, writer, president. Well, I am a very good cook, especially of baked goods. I am not a bad artist and I write well. Well, enough to get paid for it? Hmmm, maybe…. And I still have hopes that I might be president some day. And then boy howdy! There’s gonna be some changes! But my current dream for when I grow up, is owning my own bookstore. We’ll see….

Which of your 5 senses is your favorite? Why? What would you do if you lost that sense?
    xAMBERROSE

My favorite sense is my sight. I don’t think I could be happy without being able to see. If I lost my hearing, I’d miss music, but I could live with it. My sense of smell and taste, I could live without them too. I’d probably lose weight! So there’s a plus! lol My sense of touch also I could manage without, though I imagine I’d have to take much better care of myself since I wouldn’t know if I had been injured and therefor infection would be a concern. But without my eyes, I would not be able to see… I would not be able to READ! Life wouldn’t be worth living without books.

    What is your strangest talent?
    SupergirlEmzel

Lessee… my strangest talent is my ability to stumble on things I need as I need them and to make do with what I have. Seems like so many people out there think they need to buy things when usually what they need is already in their home, they just haven’t properly considered how it might be turned to a new use. I like to think of new ways to use things in artsy crafty ways. But beyond that, I do have this tendency to put my hand right on what I need when looking for something, often without even know it.

If you could talk, face to face with your deity, what would you say?
(offered up to the FQ chatboard way back on 8/29/7)
    harmony0stars

If I could talk face to face with any one of my deities, I’d ask them why they don’t go talk to the Christian god about some of Its more obnoxious followers. You know I could talk to them any time I like, but if we were face to face, I think it would be a little less formal… like we’re sitting down for a little snack and we can be casual and I can be a bit irreverent. heh

What is your dream job, and are you trying to achieve it?
    emptyv3in

My dream job is any job having to do with literature. I would love to own my own bookstore, but I would equally love to be a published writer. So I write, often, here and elsewhere. And in the fall, I am starting some non-credit business classes to familiarize myself with the requirements for owning my own business. Once that is done, I can look into grants (not loans if I can help it), and figure out how it might be done.

  • Xanga biases and equality

Xanga is biased. It’s not full blown, in your face discrimination, but the bias exists. I don’t even think it is an intentional bias. More likely, it is an unthinking bias… the kind of bias you get from people who are unaware of a certain kind of diversity in their midst. It’s a bias you see in certain sheltered individuals who are aware of their own little community, but in the larger world have no inkling of the mosaic of human society and how it differs from what they know.

See, I subscribe to the Xanga Team Blog, and they posted a Xanga Powered Sites FAQ yesterday about their effort to launch new sites for certain subgroups within Xanga. This is so that they can fine tune the types of advertisement shown to bloggers and their readers. I don’t fault them for it. They do need to fund themselves, and since most people do not pay for their premium, advertisements it is. I’m a lifer myself, but I don’t even care about the advertisements. They’re just like commercials, and who really cares about commercials? If they interest you, all well and good. If they don’t, maybe the next one will, right?

The thing is, they currently have two sibling sites to Xanga, hoodstars.com  and revelife.com. The first is for hiphop, the second for Christians. They also want to build one for moms. They say that Xanga is too general interest for their advertisers, so their best bet for making more money to keep Xanga going is to stratify their bloggers. We would still be able to go from Hoodstars to Revelife to Momaroo or whatever and comment. We would just know what group the blogger self-identified with before we arrived on their site. I don’t have issues with this either.

Why does the Paganism issue bother me so much? Well, we don’t even have the option of placing our blogrings under an identifiable heading. It’s Other or Spirituality or nothing. That makes it somewhat harder to find a Pagan/occult blogring to join than for the religions which are actually identified : Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism. Do you see the disparity? With the exception of Buddhism, the only religions given a definite outlet are Abrahamic. One might argue that the religions identified are “major” world religions, but what makes them major religions? The number of constituents? Hinduism has more believers than Buddhism. And would it surprise you to know that Paganism is the fastest growing religion in the world? There are more and more advertisers that focus on Pagans and issues Pagans have an interest in… organic produce, environmental issues, the political landscape, scholarship, ritual and spell paraphernalia, etc. I am a supervisor at a Borders store and since I started actively ordering Pagan/witchcraft/metaphysical titles for my store, we’ve gone from a ranking of 33 in the company to 13, mostly due to a Pagan ordering books Pagans are interested in.

Honestly, I have no problem with Xanga or their policies. I consider this an oversight. I do not believe that they are aware of the shifting demographics in religious expression, but you can’t read news articles about living in a “post-Christian world” without coming to the conclusion that religion has become the next big discriminatory issue that needs addressing after race. (Not that race is no longer an issue, but it is being addressed and has improved immensely from what it was even twenty years ago.)  If you are a Pagan or Witch or just in agreement with me, let John know that we’re here and we’re not going away. We’re not asking to be given any special treatment. We just want the same treatment as other believers of different faiths. Whether or not they believe there are sufficient numbers of Pagan Xangans to warrant a separate blogging site is moot. I’d settle for a revamping of the blogrings to give all major religions acknowledgment. It’s not just neo-Pagan blogs that are being shunted into anonymous blogrings… It’s hard to say what qualifies a religion as “major” but I think if it has more the a million adherents, it’s in pretty good standing and at least deserves to be acknowledged as distinct.

Major Religions of the World Ranked by Number of Adherents

    1. Christianity: 2.1 billion

  • The Aura and its colors

Though people speak of “the aura,” there are actually several layers of this etheric body. The Physical Vitality body is the closest envelope of energy. It can extend from three to seven inches out from the physical body and changes from light to dark depending upon the physical health of the individual. The Emotional energy body, also called the Astral layer, is the most flexible of the etheric bodies and extends out twelve to twenty five inches from the physical body. Anything beyond this point indicates agitation or stress. Visibility of the Lower Mind Auraric body depends on mental development and reflects thought forms,
    habitual processes, and constructs. The
Higher Mind Auraric body shows the soul principle/higher intuition and expands with
the force of thought. It is will or intention generated.
Habits of thought in both these bodies cause tones which change with occupation. The
Spiritual Aura, called the spiritual/causal body, permeates and forms the other
bodies. This body provides a link to the cosmos. And finally, the
Outer Auric Sheath lights all other bodies unless negative or
faulty conditions exist on one or more levels, which effectively alters exchange with cosmic energies.

I think it worth mentioning that in the first picture, I had no idea what was going to happen. I thought, ok. A photo of my aura. Cool. So I sat there, looked into the camera, and smiled. The second picture, I took off my glasses and tried to settle into a meditative state. Didn’t really get there before the picture got snapped, and I have no way of measuring how much the aura in the second picture was affected by my attempt. But the affect is interesting. By comparing the two pictures, you can see that my base color is probably green, as I was told years ago by a stranger who just happened to come into the store where I worked. He was an older gentleman and seemed a little surprised. I mean, not many people in the 80s walked around telling complete strangers the color of their aura.

    Now, as for the colors…

RED: indicates passion, activeness, leadership, love of sports, challenge, adventure, courage, practicality,
desire for possessions, and a survival instinct.
Red can indicate the force of the will, hard work, the drive to
achieve results and success. They work
    till they drop.
Most children have bright red auras – especially males. They are very
    active and ‘on the go’.

    deep red
over active, dull red burned out, bright red
    sexy/horny,

    ORANGE:
indicates creativity, confidence, ambition, originality, sociability, openness,
intuition, independence, expression, ability to solve problems and work
without supervision. Many talented sales people, entrepreneurs and
people who deal with the public have orange auras. Think while they
act. Like Red, sexuality, adventurousness, love of excitement and
intrigue are indicated. They are independent
and not emotionally needy. Oranges love to be organized.

YELLOW: suggests spontaneity, intellect, happiness, and cheer. A sense of humor, confidennce, optimism, and a warm smile are typical. Yellow auras brighten the lives of
those around them. They bring warmth, originality and exhilaration and are usually playful, fun loving, humorous, and somewhat childlike.
Like orange, yellow indicates attention to detail, organization and discipline.

    GREEN
    :
indicates healing, teaching, caring, high self-esteem, tenacity, money, harmony, balance, and growth. Greens need to be in control. Family matters and parenting are
important to them. Medical professionals and people involved in the
healing arts of any kind often have greens strongly in their auras.
A rich dark green is indicative of abundance, prosperity and wealth. Bright Greens are driven to be successful and often own their own business. They are goal-oriented and make lists.

    BLUE: indicates communication,
loyalty, good listening skills, contentment, peace, calm,
patience, sensitivity, honesty, empathy, generosity. Blue in the aura indicates someone who could do well as a
caretaker. They are warmhearted and often
spiritual. Blue indicates a depth of feeling- love, truth, trust,
dedication, tranquility, tenderness, affection. Blues cannot think of sex unless they are in love. Blues convey wisdom, and are reliability.

VIOLET: indicates spirituality, mysticism. A person with a lot of violet in their aura searches for the truth and looks for magical solutions; they always
see the big picture. They are
visionaries and tend to be intuitive and unconventional. They may live in a fantasy world and love to
daydream. Things come to them without pushing, what they want and need
come to them as needed. They do not have to push to get what
    they want.

    WHITE: indicate high
motivation. Like Violet, they are able to see ‘the big picture.” It is very hard to see white in an aura because this is usually what is refered to as a crystal aura… someone who syncs up with others around them, taking on characteristics of the company they keep. Whites are chameleon. Money
is not always the object of their lives. They have great wisdom, are avid
readers, and enjoy television, movies, and the theater.

    MAGENTA: indicates a nonconformist,
an innovator, someone who is strong-willed, inventive, imaginative, artistic,
resourceful, productive, and creative. In short, someone who has an agile mind. Magenta’s are bright and determined about things they regard as
important. They are great manipulators as well as actors. They dance to the beat of their own drum.

    INDIGO: indicate intuition,
observation, awareness. Indigos are open-minded, liberal, tolerant, charitable, shrewd,
perceptive, and have leadership capabilities. It represents intuitive
understanding, serious, use of the imagination, inspiration, and creativity. They make great humanitarians. Indigos also have healing ability and are gentle and compassionate.

AQUA: has a need to be recognized. People with a lot of aqua in their aura are sensitive, vulnerable, responsive, stressed and anxious. Aqua above the head means music plays an important part in their life.

PINK: Shows a purity of intention. It also indicates a strong sense of companionship, cleanness, love of art and beauty, and vitality.

    BLACK: is
protective cloak shielding from outside energies and keeping
the self centered or focused while putting matters in the proper
perspective. It indicates focus, but I have also read it indicates illness.
