week. I try to mix the whimsical with the serious here, so hopefully

    June 30th

Aestas, the ancient Roman corn-goddess of Summer is honored each year on this sacred day. Corn bread is traditionally served at Pagan gatherings in her honor.

This day is sacred to various goddesses: Ceres, Changing Woman, Chicomecoatl, the Corn Mothers, Demeter, Gaia, Ge, Hestia, Iatiku, Oraea, Pachamama, Spider Woman, and Tonantzin.

  • This is a good group of q’s.  I know I would rather have persistence than talent–have you seen Gattaca?  Persistence is worth more than talent any day of the week.

  • I want to climb a mountain or publish a book.  Both would be cool, but I don’t know if I’ll do it.
Melody is more important in music, but good music has both melody and lyric.  Unless it’s classical or otherwise instrumental.  I dig those too.

  • I finally answered another question

  • I answered question 3 once already, in a way. I don’t know if I want to again. Hey, on another note, I sorta lost track of xanga recently so I haven’t answered any of your questions. I’ll be back to fix that later.
