Did you ever have one of those days where you’re minding your own business and you see something move out of the corner of your eye? And you turn your head and look, and there is nothing freakin’ there! That’s happened about a half dozen times today, and I am done. I’m going to go to bed and hopefully will not see anything moving around in my peripheral vision in my dreams. I mean, once is pretty normal… a dust mote, a bug… but after like the third time you start thinking WTF is stalking me?
I henna’d my hair today, so at least I feel a bit productive. I got the powdered stuff and mixed it with a cup of coffee and a cup of chamomile tea and two tablespoons of vinegar. All my whites are gone, so I can pass for 24 instead of 34 again. lol Aside from the white hairs being gone, you could hardly tell that I did anything to my hair. Between the coffee and the chamomile, I think I got it to look very natural. And well, the directions called for one cup of boiling liquid, but I used two between the coffee and chamomile because I have a lot of hair. Maybe that’s the deciding factor for how natural it looks.
Anyway, goodnight. Hopefully tomorrow I will not be stalked by speedy albino spiders or wandering winged dust bunnies or whatever I’ve been seeing.

St. Vincent is a one of a number of Christianized forms of Apollo. St. Vincent’s day is important to the wine industry as he is considered the Patron Saint of wine growers. According to grape lore, if the weather is good on this day, the crops will be good this year. It is said:
If the weather is fine,
you’ll enjoy the wine!
and
If that the sun his beams display,
Be sure to mark his transient beam,
Which through the window sheds a gleam;
For ’tis a token bright and clear,
Of prosperous weather all the year.
This is the birthday of Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1526).
The Day of making way for Khnum occurs on the 8th day of Pamenot in the Egyptian calendar.

I’m 26 and my silver hairs are becoming more and more obvious, especially when I part my hair differently. Yay for henna! And… might you be haunted? I have those days sometimes too, but usually not six in a row. I’m not so much for those apparitions as for the extreme and frequent deja vu.
Cool! Glad to hear you ended up henna . . . ing (?) afterall!
That happens to me ALL THE TIME. It can get pretty annoying after a while.
If you didn’t catch anything, it’s all in your mind.
I kind of wonder what causes us to see those little things. It seems to happen to me every once in awhile.
oooooh creepy!…the other day, while in the shower, i moved my elbow against the shower curtain, and felt like i bumped something solid…as i was home alone, it was one of those, “who’s in the room with me” creep-outs…i still felt compelled to draw the curtain aside, to make sure nothing was there…yikers!
@BoureeMusique - Yeah, my house is haunted, but they don’t usually follow me around and antagonize me.
@Jemstone05 - I’d dye my hair green, but I don’t think that would go over too well at work. lol
@heidenkind - Yeah, that’s why I figured I’d go to bed.
@Wes_Gumbo - That’s… really not that helpful. lol I’m not sure which is worse. Seeing something that is only there when I’m not looking at it, or it all being in my head.
@TheCheshireGrins - I was told by an eye doctor once that it’s caused by floaters in your eye, but I don’t buy it.
@MManhoff1 - That’s happened to me too. Scares the heck out of you!
If it is in your head, the cure is simple. Negative emotion such as fear feeds on itself. As long as your mind is clear that it doesn’t exit, the monsters will fade away. On the other hand, frightfulness gets you on your toes and tends to bring out your imagination. Use it wisely. Smile.
that parriferal vision stuff happens to me all the time. at first it freaked me out and i got paranoid. after a while i got use to it and pay it almost no attention now.
