  • Yup, nother dream last night, though nowhere nearly as horrible as the one I posted yesterday. Well it's obviously because I woke up on my side instead of my back, heh. I swear I only have real nightmares on my back.

Anyway, last night -or rather early this morning since I woke up between last night and this morning and then went back to sleep- I dreamed I was back at the very first job I had ever had (a big woman's clothing store). They had taken me back because I was desperate for work. The clothes were still as ugly as ever.

Never mind that the place hasn't even existed since the 90s. They went out of business a long, long time ago. But at any rate, they took me back but didn't bother to train me. They just left me alone in the store, and all these people kept coming in after the store was closed.

In fact, many people from old jobs came in and acted as if they now worked at the clothing store too. They pulled in the clothing racks so we could pull the gate, but customers kept coming. But in the end, all my former coworkers left me alone again to deal with the customers.

There was one lady with a daughter who kept coming behind the counter and trying to help me. That was alright.

For some reason I was selling lottery tickets too. Then the register jammed and I had to try putting more paper in it. The credit card machine started spewing out lots of paper. Sometimes all the customers were in a nice neat line, and others they were milling all over the store. A delivery guy let himself in the back and cranked the stereo, but it was off and on static.

Another lady came up, and her little boy kept coming behind the counter and getting in my way. I told him three times that he didn't belong there before I told him to 'Git! Then his mother got all huffy because I "disciplined" her child. I called her a jerk, and one of the other customers agreed with me.

All in all, it was a half-hour after the store was supposed to close and there were still customers in it when I woke up.

  • Once again it's happened. I woke up from a nightmare, a particularly bad nightmare, and found myself rolled over on my back. I had a hard enough time fallin asleep last night, and the dream just made me feel sick. Arggh! I think I need more pillows so I can prop myself onto my side and there's no way for me to roll over onto my back.

It started out innocently enough, though as always it was strange enough. For some reason, I needed to be pushing a shopping cart to get into a beach/park. No one else in the line was pushing one, but for some reason to not have one would have identified me as an outsider and would have barred me from getting in.

I really needed to go inside because I was looking for my brothers (I only really have one and he wasn't in the dream) and/or I was investigating disappearances.

Once I got into the park, I looked around until I found this bungalo. This is where it gets really gross and creepy though.

I found my "brothers" and several other men. They were alive, sure, but they were also decomposing and being eaten "alive" by bugs. They were all lying on large mats, two to three to a mat. I don't think I can adequately describe how horrible they looked.

At first I really thought they were dead. I mean, there were holes in them. Holes you could see through. Those laying two to a mat were pretty much uniformly rotted, but the center man on the mats where there were three bodies looked in good condition by comparison. It was from one of these three-person mats that the center man sat up as I approached.

That wasn't the worst though. As he sat up, all these black spider-things came pouring out and after me. That's when I woke up, feeling sick, on my back. I really wish I wouldn't roll over onto my back in my sleep. Maybe these dreams might not get so bad if I didn't.
