Moan… I have a headache. I can’t focus on anything. Work is going to suck tonight. I’ve had six tylenol and three sodas in a matter of six hours and it didn’t do me any good. Nor did my peppermint oil. Of all the aches and pains and various illnesses I have had and still get upon occassion, headaches are the worst.
I was going to post about a weird dream I had last night in the “bizarre” world, but I’ve taken up so much time reading everyone’s blogs for the last twenty-four hours (busy bunch, aren’t ya), and focusing enough to reply to a few, that I’ve run out of time. Guess I’ll have to post it tomorrow. I’m so tired… I need more caffeine. I’m sure I’m not going to be in any shape to come online tonight to post.
What do you guys think of my new raven-girl picture? I was going to join Elfwood so I’d finally have somewhere to post my non-webcomic related art, but they’re not taking new members at the moments. :: grumble :: Anyway, I think it was better before I colored it. You could still see all the detail in the feathers.
Anyone want to join my blog-ring?
And I still manage a semi-long rambling post…
:: sigh ::

Caffine makes migraines better, but doesn’t it make headaches worse? I hope you feel better!
I love the raven-girl picture. Have you ever considered joining DeviantArt? Most artists I know prefer it to Elfwood, and I’m pretty sure that they don’t have limits for new memberships.
head tremours suck
I like your picture.. Its neat..so do u know allot about magic and stuff like that? I read the description of the blog ring but i was kind of confused…
Yes I love Raven girl. LOL given my screen name an affiliation with ravens, I guess I would aye? Sorry Sis you seems to be picking up my bad energy across the pixels as it were. I agree with the Mars influence. He is really doing a number lately. Work today was the pits to say the least.
Harmony, I must disagree with your comment but I thank you for your opinion. Responsibility and compassion do not go hand in hand. A person can be very responsible and have little to no compassion. Likewise, a very compassionate person may have little to no responsibility.
And about your example, I wouldn’t say that the people who are affected are the people who pay more because they don’t have to pay more. The people who suffer are the workers. Pay is cut, employees are fired and job opportunities are blocked. They wouldn’t hire prices because that would drive away customers.
I understand that people with horrible pasts can still grow up to be outstanding citizens and I wasn’t trying to imply otherwise. And doing evil because they were hurt is not an excuse. But if you look at all serial murderers you will find that most of them were abused for most of their years of childhood and were never helped. Serial killers aren’t born, they’re made. Now did these children decide to become serial killers? You said that everyone knows right from wrong… I’m sorry to say but that is quite naive. If we all had the same views of what is right and wrong then you and I wouldn’t be debating.
Lastly, you mentioned that some crimes should be punished by death. It is true that child molestation, rape, serial killings, war crims and the like are serious crimes. But how do you teach society to stop undesired behavior by doing the punishable offense? And what is worse? Ending life quickly, or spending the rest of your days in jail? And you said the most compassionate way to deal with them is to kill them. Isn’t that contradicting itself? Yes, it may give some relief to those who were hurt but a life is still a life. Help not only the victim but the offender as well.
Thanks Orange Slippers. I forgot about DeviantArt completely. Caffeine can give you a headache if you’re prone to them, but it is good for any headache once you have one. It helps the pain by shrinking capillaries and reducing the flow of blood to the affected area.
Yes, Lsilver666. I don’t want to say I’m an expert on the subject of magic, but I certainly know more than the average pulp magic book in the occult aisle of your local bookstore. I make my own spells and they work, but I practice magic responsibly and my spells work because I do research into why they should work. That’s what my blogring’s about- knowing what you’re doing and doing it well.
Thanks Kat.
and thanks for joining my blogring. Yes, work was hellacious to say the least. Gah, what is it about sub-zero weather that brings everyone out? I’d think with all the bad weather we’re supposed to get soon, they’d all be at the grocery store, buying bread and milk like good little panicked lemmings. Oh well, I finally got home last night and took one of my mother’s remaining tylenol with codeine from when she had a toothache. I’m still tired this morning, and my head still hurts, but not so bad. Hopefully Mr Headache will be dead by tonight, and I can sleep without drugging myself.
chocolate helps mine:)
yummm chocolate but Harmony is allergic. Sad for her. Moment of silence. But more chocolate for meeee. Oops I am in a morbid mood, I have a funeral to go to tomorrow.
